WRITER AT LARGE. Freelancer. Consultant. Taste advocate. Essayist. Editorial curator. Novelist-in-progress. Documenter of thoughts and stories and opinions behind brand, design, art, architecture, multi-hyphenate philosophy, the craft of language, the classical arts, and the in-between moments that make you weep and bleed and mop it all up.
I play favorites, and my favorites are consumer brands with a cultural edge developing new—and improved—inventions in old and fresh industries.
From tech, to sports, to fashion, to money, and beyond. I don’t give a damn about your niche, but I do give a damn about your worldview.
If you’re building a physical or digital artifact that help humans live more interesting, creative, and athletic lives, WE SHOULD TALK.
In layman’s terms, you could call me a BRAND WRITER. The person who works in tandem with your visionaries, designers, and the founder at the helm (that you?) to create the storytelling bones that build your brand. From the language, up.
I sculpt brand stories from brilliant ideas shared in crisp mahogany boardrooms to tangible experiences that inspire generations and define movements—from decks and guidelines covering identity, voice, tone, personality, and messaging to copy leadership and scalable narrative concepts.
I’m also writing a daily newsletter I’m obsessed with CUT YOUR TEETH.
It’s raw. It’s unhinged. It’s my barest bones on display, to talk openly to overthinking ambitious makers and thinkers forging their CREATIVE PALATES in the fires of taste, ambition, and business—and all the other interconnected factors I ranted about earlier.
In my past life, I’ve thought up and carved up language for a variety of mediums and brands, from gigs at Nike, Meta, and Revolut, to developing stories from idea to execution—from scratch—for startups in sleep, beauty, tech, SaaS, and more.
Always more. Always interesting.
The blanker the canvas, the more thrilling the work.
